Effective 6 October 2026
You can delete your VemoRide account yourself, at any time, without asking us. This page explains how, what happens afterwards, and what to do if you cannot sign in.
If you signed in with Google, Apple or Facebook, this is the same: deleting your VemoRide account removes your account with us. It does not touch your Google, Apple or Facebook account, and you can also remove VemoRide’s access from that provider’s own settings at any time.
One thing stops a deletion: a booking that is still running or whose payment has not settled. Deleting an account in the middle of a trip would leave a customer without a driver, or a partner without their money. Complete or cancel the booking, or wait for the payment to settle, and the deletion will go through.
If you are a super admin, another super admin has to do it, so that nobody can lock the platform out of itself.
Section 5 of our Privacy Policy sets out every retention period in full.
Write to privacy@vemoride.com from the email address on the account, and tell us you want it deleted. We will confirm who you are and then delete it. If you cannot write from that address, say so and we will ask you for something else that identifies you.
A deleted account is not immediately destroyed, because people delete accounts by accident. For a short period you can restore it by trying to sign in again, which will offer you the choice. Once the 30 days above have passed, the data is gone and we cannot bring it back.
You do not have to delete the whole account to remove a single piece of information. A phone number, a photograph or a verification record can be removed on its own: write to privacy@vemoride.com and say which. Withdrawing identity verification means we can no longer offer you a partner or driver role, and the account reverts to customer access.
